Chicken with Lemon and Olives Bram

Ingredients

  • 1 large chicken cut to 10 pieces
  • 3 onions – sliced
  • 4 garlic cloves
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 teaspoon ginger
  • 1 teaspoon turmeric
  • 3 tablespoons minced coriander
  • 5 tablespoons minced parsley
  • 4 tbsp Wadi Food olive oil
  • 2 potatoes cut into large rings
  • 1 Wadi Food pickled lemon – minced
  • 1 cup Wadi Food green olives

Steps

  1. Cook the chicken in 3 tablespoons of olive oil.
  2. Add spices, coriander, and 3 tablespoons of parsley and then turn stir all until the chicken takes the golden color from both sides.
  3. Add onions and garlic, then the pickled lemon and olives and stir well.
  4. Add one and a half cups of water and leave to boil over high heat.
  5. Pour the mixture into the oven bram. Cook the potatoes a little with a tablespoon of olive oil and two of parsley.
  6. Sprinkle with salt and pepper and then put over the chicken.
  7. Bake in a medium oven for 40 minutes until the sauce thickens.
  8. Serve with Arabian bread or white rice.
